WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE PROJECT

Implemented in 12 different provinces, the Dove Self-Confidence Project reached 12,694 high school youth with the intermediation of 314 Community Volunteer youth who participated in local mainstreaming training.

 

Launched in 2017 - 2018 in the form of a partnership between TOG and Dove, the Dove Self-Confidence Project continues under the umbrella of TOG in the 2018 - 2019 period.

 

 

The Dove Self-Confidence Project aims to support 15-year-old high school students in building the self-confidence that they need to realize themselves. The topics include ideal physical appearance, pressure of ideal physical appearance, the media and the effect of the media on the ideal physical appearance. As of December, the project has started being implemented by Community Volunteer youth among 9th grade students.

 

Implemented in 12 different provinces, the Dove Self-Confidence Project reached 12,694 high school youth with the intermediation of 314 Community Volunteer youth who participated in local mainstreaming training.

 

Dove Self-Confidence Project's end-of-term assessment meeting was held in Istanbul on June 27-28 with the participation of 21 Community Volunteers from 12 different provinces.

 

The project, which will continue in 2018 - 2019, aims to reach 12,000 9th grade students in 8 different provinces with the intermediation of Community Volunteer youth.
