The project entitled Gender Perspective in EU Mobility Programs is a strategy development project with international partners, which aims for mainstreaming the issue of gender in mobility programs by enhancing the capacity of youth organizations and increasing the visibility of gender-related problems.
Five NGOs and a university active in the fields of youth and gender across Europe will join forces for this 20-month project to discuss gender-based discrimination in mobility projects, devise preventive and supportive mechanisms; establish national and international solidarity networks; and conduct advocacy work.
The project will not only help formulate innovative solutions, but also result in a gender policy document and advocacy activities.
Project Period: 20 months (September 2016 – April 2018)
Project Partners: Community Volunteers Foundation (Coordinator); EURO-NET (Italy); Foundation for Empowering Gender Equality (Malta); Rede Portuguesa de Jovens para a Igualdade de Oportunidades entre Mulheres e Homens (Portugal); United Societies of Balkans (Greece); Yaşar University (Turkey)
