Ayşe Kırımlı Becomes TOG's New General Manager


Didem Duru, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG), announced that Ayşe Kırımlı has taken over the position of general manager for TOG's 20th year. Duru stated, "For a full 20 years, TOG has been developing projects aimed at solving societal problems under the leadership of young people. With the implementation of these projects, we have made valuable contributions to both the strengthening of civil society in Turkey and the personal development of young people. I wholeheartedly believe that under Ayşe Kırımlı's general management, we will further increase our benefits to both young people and the country."

Established in 2002 with the principle of "led by young people, guided by adults," the new general manager of the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) is Ayşe Kırımlı. For 20 years, TOG has been contributing to the personal development of young people and implementing projects that address societal problems through projects initiated by young people.

Commenting on the new general manager, TOG Chairperson Didem Duru said, "With her extensive experience in corporate life and her roles in NGOs supporting gender equality and social entrepreneurship, Ayşe Kırımlı's joining our team has further strengthened us."


Kırımlı: "Excited to Be at TOG"

Ayşe Kırımlı, who has started her new role as the General Manager of the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG), expressed her excitement about being part of a foundation that supports young people's personal development and dreams through socially beneficial projects. She said:

"In addition to my work in the private sector, I have been volunteering as a career coach for university students since 2011. Being able to share my experiences with more young people and accompany them on their life journeys as the general manager of a youth foundation makes me very happy. Indeed, I have a lot to learn from them. I believe that a better world is possible with the energy of community volunteer young people who carry out projects touching many lives every year and take action against societal problems."


About TOG General Manager Ayşe Kırımlı:

Ayşe Kırımlı, who graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Sociology and completed her master's degree in "International Management" at Istanbul University, began her career as a Sales Coordinator at Shell Turkey A.Ş. She continued as a Product Manager, and then successively held roles as Business Development Manager at Turk Pirelli A.Ş., Group Product Manager at Garanti Payment Systems Inc., Deputy General Manager in charge of Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Communications at Inteltek A.Ş. (İDDAA), Marketing Director and Executive Board Member at Praktiker A.Ş., Director in charge of Marketing, Business Development, and Corporate Communications at Adel Kalemcilik, and Deputy General Manager in charge of Marketing and Sales at Zorlu Performans Sanatları Merkezi. Ayşe Kırımlı most recently served as Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications for newspapers affiliated with Demirören Media.

Having a professional coaching certificate from Adler International Learning approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Ayşe Kırımlı has been volunteering as a career coach for university students and young professionals since 2010. In addition to her extensive corporate experience, Kırımlı has held various roles in NGOs supporting "gender equality" and "social entrepreneurship." She has served on the boards of PWN Istanbul and TÜHİD, is a supporter of Ashoka, and a member of IWF Turkey.
