Project Name: Learning Partnership on the Path to Teaching

Project Summary: This project aims to support NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) teachers on their journey to becoming educators who can enhance children's social and emotional skills and contribute to a participatory and peaceful school climate. To achieve this goal, appropriate content has been planned, and all necessary materials have been produced.

NEET teachers will engage in a structured and sustainable learning process with current teachers or those who have deepened their practice in Nonviolent Communication. Mentors have been invited to the program to support this objective.

Project Name: Together We Are: Enhancing Social Skills and Employment Access Capacities of NEET Youth in İzmir

Project Summary: The specific objective of this project is to increase the employment participation of NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) youth in the İzmir region. This will be achieved by enhancing their social skills and knowledge levels through volunteer activities, thereby developing their capacities to access employment opportunities.

Project Name: Youth in Agriculture

Project Summary: The Youth in Agriculture Project targets young individuals aged 18-30, aiming to steer them towards agriculture as a viable income model and to increase their interest in farming. The project's objectives include encouraging youth to engage in agricultural production, contributing to the restoration of agriculture's declining prestige in Turkey, and offering a solution to the rising youth unemployment.

Within the scope of the project, training sessions will focus on the cultivation of tropical fruits with high demand but limited supply, social media, digital marketing, and agricultural grants. All training sessions will be conducted via the Zoom application.

The project is planned to last for one year, encompassing the training period and subsequent support for selected participants with seedling aid. The success of the project will be measured through pre- and post-project surveys of the participants, along with monitoring the progress of those who received seedlings, culminating in a final report.

Project Name: From Waste to Employment

Project Summary: The aim of the project is to enhance the employability of NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) youth by providing them with training in various fields. Following the training sessions, a workshop will be conducted, resulting in a report. This report will be distributed to relevant authorities to carry out advocacy activities.

Project Name: Qualified Employment for NEETs

Project Summary: This project aims to create a policy groundwork for a localized employment model, differing from generic policies, by bringing together local youth and decision-makers (such as the District Governor's Office, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce, ITOB Industrial Zone, Pancar Industrial Zone, Technopark, Community Leaders, NGOs, İŞKUR, KOSGEB). It focuses on conducting a comprehensive needs analysis research that includes solutions for NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) youth in the locality, involving stakeholders from the labor and employment sector for a broad perspective. The project also aims to design and implement competence-based trainings (Digital Competence #DigComp, Entrepreneurial Competence #EntreComp, and Life Skills #LifeComp) using widespread learning methods targeted at the identified NEET youth. Furthermore, the project plans to support the process with job shadowing experiences and coaching.

Project Name: Collaborative Market Project

Project Summary: The Collaborative Market project aims to enhance the competencies of producers and entrepreneurs in sales and entrepreneurship. To achieve this goal, various training sessions were organized to improve the skills of entrepreneurs and producers. As a result of these trainings, producers learned how to better manage their brands, while entrepreneurs shared insights on areas where they could contribute to the producers' development.

At the end of the training sessions, producers had the opportunity to showcase their products and promote their brands. This was followed by a pairing of entrepreneurs and producers, where entrepreneurs asked specific questions to understand how they could support the producers. After a designated period for the matching process, partnerships between producers and entrepreneurs were established.

The project has three specific objectives:

1. To equip NEET youth with digital skills.
2. To enhance the entrepreneurial talents of women producers and prospective producers through training.
3. To facilitate the coming together of business and academic professionals.

Project Summary: SistersLab – Association for Women in Science and Technology focuses on activities aimed at increasing employment, visibility, and capacity of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields, with the goal of raising awareness about gender equality in these sectors. The Women in Tech Academy project primarily focuses on teaching the Python programming language and incorporates various workshops related to employment. The project aims to increase the participation of women in the workforce within the software industry.

Project Name: Civil Space Awaits You

Project Summary: The Civil Space Awaits You project involves trainings and workshop activities organized with reference to specific objectives set within the project. These events are scheduled to occur face-to-face once a month at the event space of the Civil Youth and Culture Association, starting from May 2022 and planned to conclude in December 2022. The project targets reaching 40 NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) participants who have regularly attended the scheduled trainings and workshops until October 2022. Project Name: Learning My Profession, Owning My Future

Project Summary:

• The project aims to reduce the disadvantages of young seasonal agricultural workers in Şanlıurfa who are neither employed nor in education, by providing foreign language support.
• It focuses on informing and certifying NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) individuals and potential NEETs about entrepreneurship and investment opportunities, offering mentorship to young people with investor potential, and educating them about incentive and grant programs.
• The project facilitates the entry of NEETs and potential NEETs into the employment market by providing web design training, thus helping them acquire 21st-century skills.
• Additionally, it aims to prevent potential NEET seasonal agricultural worker students from dropping out of educational institutions through mentorship support.
