Embarking on their journey inspired by a letter from a village school teacher, Community Volunteer youth mobilized towards Eskişehir.
Together with 200 youth participants from 22 cities and 33 universities, they carried out renovation works at Körhasan Village Primary School, landscaping, afforestation, street cleaning, awareness campanigns against smoking, work with the mentally disabled, work with the elderly in nursing homes and support to town houses.
Organized by the Karadeniz Technical University Community Volunteers Community between May 12-15, 2011, in Trabzon, the " Atak the Barriers (Engelleri Atak)" event brought together 60 youth from 27 different TOG Communities The event focused on the problems and solutions faced by the disabled people living in Trabzon and aimed to raise awareness through various workshops, practices and activities. Both the participants and the people of Trabzon came together to raise awareness about disability and create social awareness.
Between May 12-15, 2022, 50 Community Volunteers from different cities in Turkey gathered for primary school children in Hatay/Iskenderun. In Atakfest, hosted by Hatay TOG and Play Fits in the House Project team, game-based communication was established with children between the ages of 7-12 and a game festival was organized. In this way, the local community and participants connected with the language of play and gained awareness on the importance of play. Additionally, more than 5,000 children were reached through school visits and the game festival.
