As the Community Volunteers Foundation, we support successful university students with strong social and volunteering potential to continue their education without financial difficulties. We encourage scholarship recipients to participate in voluntary activities within the Community Volunteers Foundation during the scholarship period.

University students who benefit from Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) Youth Scholarships participate in volunteer work in projects and activities for at least 16 hours per month. While supporting university students in accessing knowledge, technology, and innovations, we also ensure their participation in social responsibility projects that will benefit the community they live in.

Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) Youth Scholarships continue throughout their undergraduate education within the framework of the scholarship regulations. We monitor the academic achievement and volunteering activities of the scholarship recipients throughout the semester and accordingly, we continue the scholarship support during their associate/bachelor’s education.

For the 2022-2023 academic year,there were 36,066 online applications for TOG Scholarships. As a result of the interviews conducted by the Scholarship Committee, students were offered scholarships. As of the 2022-2023 academic term, more than 1500 youth are benefiting from scholarship support.

Our scholarship programs are for youth who are Turkish citizens and studying at the associate or undergraduate level of universities in Turkey. These are unconditional scholarships that are given to support the education and training of university students and are based on the criterion of volunteerism.

There are 2 fundamental conditions for the continuity of Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) Youth Scholarships. Scholars are required to participate in volunteer activities for a minimum of 16 hours per month within the Community Volunteers Foundation and maintain a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.

What are the scholarship application requirements?

The Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) Youth Scholarship can be applied for by first-year and preparatory class students regardless of their major, and for intermediate class scholarships by university students between the ages of 18-24 who are in their second year and above. Students studying at foundation universities must have 100% full scholarship.

How are scholarship applications evaluated?

The Community Volunteers Foundation evaluates the scholarship applications by considering criteria of need, volunteering status, academic achievement and social skills, and the system automatically scores the applications and creates a ranking. According to this ranking, qualified candidates are invited for an interview. As a result of the interviews conducted by the committee members, scholarship recipients are determined according to the application criteria.

Does receiving a scholarship from another institution or organization prevent eligibility for the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) Youth Scholarship?

Receiving a scholarship from another institution or organization is not an obstacle to receive a Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) Youth Scholarship. However, if you receive a scholarship from another institution, you are required to inform TOG.
