In January, Community Volunteer youth were in the field within the scope of the Manage Your Anxiety, Discover Your Potential and Shine with Your Steps: Development Program for Young Women. Young people both supported high school students in coping with exam anxiety and continued to receive mentorship for the projects they developed with a focus on gender equality.
Within the scope of the Manage Your Anxiety, Discover Your Potential Project, young people carried out face-to-face practices in high schools aimed at helping students cope with exam anxiety and supporting them in discovering their potential. During the practices, the nature of anxiety, thought patterns, and supportive methods were addressed, while safe learning spaces were created where high school youth could recognize their own potential.
In the Shine with Your Steps program, 10 different TOG Communities are receiving mentorship in line with the project ideas they developed with a focus on gender equality. After the process, which will be completed in February, the project teams will present their ideas before a jury.
Community Volunteer youth continue both to support the well-being of their peers and to produce projects focused on equality at the local level.
