Throughout December, Community Volunteer youth were active across Türkiye in projects focused on supporting children’s development, strengthening young people’s psychological well-being, and promoting gender equality. Through these locally implemented initiatives, they engaged with different age groups and generated social benefit and lasting impact.
The first anniversary of the Community Store Starbucks Shared Space, launched in collaboration with Starbucks, was celebrated with young people in December. To date, 1,049 young people have participated in 58 workshops held at the Starbucks Shared Space, and a total of 5,236 beneficiaries were reached throughout 2025.
Within the scope of the Yarınlara Kartopu Project, a total of 343 Yarınlara Kartopu workshops were conducted in 22 different cities throughout December through local project teams, reaching 6,109 children.
Through the Manage Your Anxiety, Discover Your Potential Project, implemented in collaboration with Menarini Türkiye, 29 young people from three universities participated in introductory trainings held in Istanbul, focusing on coping with exam and future anxiety, psychological well-being, and supportive methods. The participants were prepared for the field activities they will carry out with high school students during the 2025–2026 academic year.
As part of the Adımlarınla Parla – Development Program for Young Women, implemented in collaboration with The Estée Lauder Companies Türkiye, 20 young women from 10 TOG communities participated in online trainings on leadership, career preparation, gender equality, and project development. At the end of the program, the young women began developing project ideas to be implemented within their own communities.
Within the scope of the Geleceğe Renk Katanlar Project, carried out in collaboration with TAB Gıda (Burger King), 101 young people contributed to transforming educational environments in three schools in Bolu, Gaziantep, and Sivas. Through classroom renovations, as well as the creation of libraries and sports areas, permanent spaces were established to support children’s motivation to learn.
As part of the year-end gift campaign launched in December in collaboration with SOCAR Türkiye, the winter boots and coats needs of 143 children in Adıyaman were met through the joint efforts of Community Volunteer youth and SOCAR Türkiye volunteers.
Through the “Değişime Adım At, Mutluluğun Rengini Keşfet” project, implemented in collaboration with Palette, the aim was to make visible the “need for approval” that women experience when taking steps toward change. Beginning as a social experiment, this journey continued with a webinar where the emotions experienced were transformed into a digital artwork. With the well-attended launch event held at The Seed on December 12, the project—which creates space for and empowers young people—reached a wide audience.
Through these projects carried out in December, Community Volunteer youth continued to create safe learning spaces for children, young people, and young women, while producing sustainable and measurable social impact at the local level.
