Samsun Terme – “Growing Stronger While Having Fun” Project

Led by the Samsun Community Volunteers Club, the “Growing Stronger While Having Fun” project in Terme aimed to support the fine motor skills of primary school children. Limited access to materials and activity opportunities in the region negatively affected both the students’ physical development and their artistic and social skills.

In response to this need, Community Volunteer youth designed hands-on activities that promoted hand–eye coordination, attention development, and creativity. Play-based exercises, drawing and painting activities, and workshops using materials that support small muscle development contributed to the children’s overall development.

Seven Community Volunteer youth actively participated in the project. Implemented under the “With Me, With the Republic” program, this initiative represents a concrete step taken by young people to enhance educational equity at the local level.
