Take a Break from Life

The "Take a Break from Life" project is a social service initiative led by Yalova TOG, aimed at supporting dialysis patients. The primary goal of the project is to reduce the stress of patients undergoing dialysis treatment three times a week for four-hour sessions and boost their motivation through music. Conversations and musical activities with patients aim to make their treatment process more enjoyable and engaging. The project, conducted in collaboration with Yalova Musiki Association, seeks to ease the difficulties of the treatment period and provide emotional support to patients.

My Book Buddy

The "My Book Buddy" project is an initiative targeting young people aged 18-30, aiming to foster reading habits and strengthen social interaction. This online project divides participants into small groups, encouraging them to read and discuss selected books together. Additionally, monthly events are organized to allow participants to share their thoughts on books and build social connections. The project aspires to contribute to the personal development and social awareness of university students across Turkey.

Toy Inventors

The "Toy Inventors" project brings together university students in Ankara to create handmade toys using various materials. The primary goal is to provide joy and emotional support to children affected by the February 6th earthquake. The project encourages young people to develop their craftsmanship and creativity while offering specially designed toys to help children process their traumatic experiences. This social responsibility initiative aims to facilitate social interaction among students and make a positive impact on children.

Voice of the Streets

The "Voice of the Streets" project is a social initiative conducted in Ankara, designed to help homeless individuals and residents of disadvantaged neighborhoods integrate into society and realize their potential. The main objectives of the project include supporting individuals in becoming self-sufficient, reducing the likelihood of criminal activity, raising awareness among children and young people, and encouraging participation in artistic and sports activities. The project features educational and awareness-raising events, artistic and cultural activities, sports tournaments, and various workshops.

Green Light

The "Green Light" project is an initiative aimed at raising public awareness about mental health disorders and the importance of psychological support. The project specifically targets young people aged 18-25 through online seminars and social media activities, focusing on topics such as depression, attention deficit disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It also aims to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and eliminate barriers in the treatment process. Through social media campaigns, the project aspires to reach a broad audience and create awareness.

Erase the Line

The "Erase the Line" project is an interactive program designed to help young people develop awareness of social identities, gender roles, discriminatory language, and different forms of violence. Over a five-week period, participants engage in various activities, workshops, and discussions to raise consciousness on social issues. The training sessions cover gender stereotypes, discrimination, and prejudices, helping students recognize sexist expressions in language. The project is designed to help young individuals understand themselves and their surroundings more effectively.

Hold My Hand Too

The "Hold My Hand Too" (BEST) project is a social awareness initiative conducted by TOG Ege, focusing on children living in orphanages and potential foster families. The project’s primary goal is to increase the number of foster families and the number of children placed in these families. Awareness is raised through art competitions among elementary schools in Bornova, information booths in various locations in İzmir, and the Foster Family Festival. The project is carried out in partnership with İzmir Provincial Directorate of Social Services, EBSO Foundation Women's Association, Yeni Asır, and the Foster Families Support and Promotion Association, with resources provided by these partners. The project team emphasizes that relationships with institutions should remain sincere and in line with the amateur spirit of the initiative.
