UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AT THE ADIYAMAN SUPPORT CENTER

As part of the Adıyaman Support Center activities carried out through the collaboration between the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) and GSK, 25 university students participated in volunteer activities within the scope of the Community Service Practices course, in line with a protocol signed with Adıyaman University. The young people organized education, play, art, and study workshops for primary school students living in the container settlement, contributing to the children’s development while also gaining hands-on experience in volunteering.

During this process, which took place within the framework of the Community Service Practices course, university students gained knowledge about the concept of volunteering, fieldwork experience, and implementation processes, while also establishing direct contact with children living in the container settlement. Through education, play, and art workshops, the children’s academic, social, and artistic development was supported.

Thanks to these efforts, young people strengthened their sense of social responsibility, while safe, supportive, and enriching learning spaces were created for children.
