With Me, With the Republic: Adana – Smiling School Project

In Kaldırım Neighborhood, Yumurtalık district of Adana, the Çukurova University Community Volunteers Club carried out a project to renovate the learning environment of the village school and strengthen children’s areas of development. Led by young volunteers, classrooms were brightened, missing materials were provided, and a more motivating environment was created to reinforce students’ connection with the school.

Nineteen Community Volunteer youth played an active role in the project, addressing physical deficiencies in the educational environment and supporting the children’s learning process. The initiative was implemented as a concrete step that made children’s access to their rights visible and made learning a more enjoyable experience.
