Eskişehir Tepebaşı / Hekimdağ Village – Green Tomorrows with Little Hands

As part of this initiative, carried out by the Anadolu University Community Volunteers Club in Eskişehir, hands-on trainings were conducted in Hekimdağ Village to raise children’s awareness of fires and disaster preparedness. The trainings, prepared under the leadership of young volunteers, covered correct behaviors before, during, and after fires, safe movement practices, and environmental responsibility.

The activities were supported with scenario-based theater exercises, interactive events, and educational kits. Tools were also provided to help children share what they learned with their families and the local community, aiming to spread disaster and environmental awareness at the local level.

Twenty Community Volunteer youth actively participated in the initiative. The “Green Tomorrows with Little Hands” project was shaped through concrete steps aimed at both increasing fire awareness and strengthening children’s consciousness about protecting nature.
