Hatay Üçgedik Activity Classroom and Playground Project

In Üçgedik Village, Hatay, the Mustafa Kemal University Community Volunteers Club established a comprehensive activity classroom at the village primary school. Led by young volunteers, this space was designed to support children’s creative, social, and academic development and includes a theater corner, an art area, and a well-organized library section.

During the project, children received books and stationery support. While setting up the activity classroom, students were also shown films to introduce them to cinema culture. This approach aimed to both enrich their learning environment and provide an enjoyable experience.

The initiative was brought to life through the efforts of 12 Community Volunteer youth. The new space created in Üçgedik represents one of the concrete steps taken by young people to strengthen educational equity at the local level within the “With Me, With the Republic” program.
