Tokat Turhal – Library Renovation Project

In Tokat, the Gaziosmanpaşa University Community Volunteers Club carried out a library renovation project at a primary school to strengthen students’ access to books.

Limited access to books at the school negatively affected the children’s learning processes and research skills. Recognizing this local need, the youth organized efforts such as acquiring books, arranging shelves, and improving reading areas, enabling students to benefit from a high-quality learning environment.

Twenty Community Volunteer youth participated in the project. Implemented as part of the “With Me, With the Republic” program, this initiative became one of the key projects that, through the energy of young people, strengthened educational equity at the local level.
