VOLUNTEERING MEETING WITH CARREFOUR GLOBAL SOURCING

As the Community Volunteers Foundation, we came together with employees of Carrefour Global Sourcing in order to expand the culture of volunteering to wider areas and to strengthen the active participation of institutions in processes that produce social benefit.

In the seminar we held face-to-face at the institution’s headquarters on January 22, 2026; we discussed together what volunteering means, the roles and responsibilities of a volunteer individual, and the place of volunteering in personal and social transformation. In the meeting, which we enriched with examples from Türkiye, Europe, and around the world, we shared the working methods of civil society organizations at different scales from a holistic perspective.

This meeting contributed to strengthening the awareness of volunteering within the institution and encouraged more people to take action in the field of social responsibility.
