As the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG), we have launched the 2,000 m² Hatay Kamp’üs in Serinyol, Hatay, creating a space where young people can regain strength after the disaster. Hatay Kamp’üs will offer at least 5,000 young people per year a place to learn, create, and engage in solidarity. Through workshops and youth gatherings ranging from volunteering to disaster response, we aim to help young people in the region realize their full potential.
Hatay Kamp’üs is designed to accommodate 42 young people and 10 youth workers. This space, which will support young people’s learning, co-creation, and rebuilding processes, will also serve as the central hub for national youth camps that bring together young people from all across Türkiye.
Hosting workshops and youth gatherings on themes such as volunteering, civil society, project management, disaster volunteering, and teamwork, Hatay Kamp’üs will act as a central venue for national youth camps, uniting young people both from Hatay and from all over Türkiye. As an essential part of our long-term recovery efforts in the disaster zone, Hatay Kamp’üs will provide young people with a sustainable learning environment.
