Rediscover Sounds! - Sounds of the Room

Purpose of Education: 
To enable students to produce sounds using the spaces, objects and their bodies around them; to encourage them to experience creative musical expressions with basic sounds and to question the concept of music. 

Content of Training: 

• Introduction and warm-up activity 
• Starting with thought-provoking questions on the concept of music 
• Exploration of space and sound production with various objects/bodies 
• Presentation, sequencing, mixing and stopping of sounds 
• Direction work with the roles of orchestra conductor and sound mixer 
• Group conversations on listening, decision making and musical communication 
• Closing  

Gains: 

• Development of listening and sound discrimination skills 
• Supporting creativity, cooperation, collective production and attention skills 
• Realizing that musical expression is not limited to instruments alone 
• Discovering that it is possible to create music with experimental sounds 
• Development of awareness of the concept of music and interpretation skills
