Maybe with the wrong people at the right times, maybe with the right people at the wrong times, maybe independent of time and verifications, but an experience that always happens to us: Flirting!
You are invited to our workshop where we will talk about “love” in our lives in many forms, dating violence, modern day relationship vocabulary from lovebombing to breadcrumbing, and safe relationships, and where we always believe in the magic of seeing that we are not alone. Participation conditions:
- If you have ever had a relationship where you asked yourself, “What are we now?”
- If you have ever had moments where you thought, “Am I exaggerating?”
- If you have dug for meaning in one-sentence messages,
- If you have said sentences like, “He is actually a good person deep down...”
- If you are exposed to behaviors that make you feel uneasy but cannot verbalize, you are expected.
Gains
- Basic awareness of types of dating violence is gained.
- The ability to recognize and question relationship dynamics is developed.
- Awareness is gained about the possibility and how of healthy relationships.
- The concept of consent and the importance of setting boundaries are reinforced.
- The individual is enabled to develop strategies to protect himself/herself and others who experience dating violence.
- You learn to look at your relationship history, experiences, and environment from a questioning and self-observing place.
