Training Objective

The aim of this training is to teach participants the basic principles of nature-friendly project design through hands-on experience, develop sustainable thinking skills, and guide them in creating projects in harmony with nature.

Importance of the Training

Environmental issues are one of today’s most pressing topics. Developing nature-friendly projects is essential for both protecting the environment and providing societal and economic benefits. This workshop aims to raise environmental awareness by enabling participants to design projects in harmony with nature.

Training Content

Hands-on Project Design:

  • Participants will develop an eco-friendly project idea.
  • They will shape their project ideas based on nature-friendly design principles.
  • Projects will incorporate themes such as recycling, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.

Ecological Impact Assessment:

  • Participants will assess the environmental impacts of their projects.
  • Strategies will be developed to minimize ecological impact.

Project Feedback and Development:

  • Participants will share their project drafts with each other and receive feedback.
  • They will make improvements to their projects, making them more sustainable and nature-friendly.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Learn the principles of nature-friendly project design through hands-on experience.
  • Assess the ecological impact of their projects and optimize them for environmental sustainability.
  • Integrate eco-friendly practices such as recycling, energy efficiency, and resource conservation into their projects.

Instructor: Büşranur Teknik Özdemir

About the Instructor

After graduating from the International Relations department at Ankara University and Sciences Po Lyon, Büşranur completed her master’s degree in Human Rights Law at Istanbul Bilgi University, writing her thesis on urban participation. She has gained nearly nine years of experience volunteering and working professionally with NGOs in Turkey and abroad, managing international projects. Since 2019, she has been working on strategy and business development with impact-focused initiatives and led the establishment and coordination of the Social Innovation Laboratory at a social entrepreneurship center. She coaches for change and mentors business development within projects. While continuing to give workshops and trainings, she currently works as the Entrepreneurship Program Leader at İmece. She is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations at Bahçeşehir University. She is accredited as a Change Management Professional by Prosci and provides consulting on change projects for institutional capacity development.
